Customer: DRV Zrt
Description of the work: Renovation of the architectural and machinery components of the pump station near the Siófok Market Hall.
Time of construction: 2019
Renovation process and technical content:
Basic data: Unique diameter of 6.0 m, depth of 6.50 m, connecting sewer DN500 – Pumps: 2 Flygt CP 3127 MT DN150/150.
- The sealing of the gravity connection, washing and cleaning of the pit before the demolition work begins, and disconnection and removal of the pumps’ electrical side. During the execution, periodic provision of a deep suction vehicle, if necessary – DRV Zrt.
- The establishment of work conditions: Sealing of the outflow pipe in the receiving pit, installation of a mobile, temporary sewage TSURUMI submersible pump in the AGY100 cleaning pit, construction of a temporary D90 pressure pipe connecting to the existing D160 combined pressure pipeline. At the temporary connection point established on the combined pressure pipeline, the following was installed: 1 DN200/80 HAWLE T-fitting, 1 DN200 AVK gate valve NBR, 1 AVK DN80 gate valve, 1 D225/D160 KPE EF coupling + welding extension + DN200 PP flange. Temporary operation was established from the existing control cabinet for a one-pump provisional operation, with the installation of 2 float switches (electrical wiring set up in a protective pipe for provisional operation).
- RWT KFT is responsible for the setup and operation of the provisional and temporary operation during the construction until technical handover, closed with a 72-hour trial operation and handed over.
- Complete demolition and delivery of all steel structures, mechanics, fittings, and pressure pipes within the lifting pit to the Client’s site.
- Cleaning of internal wall surfaces with high-pressure water (1000-2000 bar as needed), use of rolling mobile scaffolds with multiple transfers, application of a bonding bridge SAKRET SHG at 0.2 kg/m², application of a sewage-resistant coating with a material consumption of 12 kg/m², smoothed in with SAKRET MHS mortar, follow-up treatment with concrete repair and leveling under an insulating coating with PCC mortar at an average thickness of 1 cm (estimated).
- Restoration of the architectural refurbishment structural part, plastering of external surfaces, installation of protective piping for cables and lighting on a bracket, installation of 3 new light fixtures, demolition and replacement of the existing outdoor cover with a KO cover, construction of an internal railing from KO pipe, demolition of the internal door and installation of a new KO door, demolition of the external protective area boundary grid and installation of a new grid, and repair of the internal surfaces of the pump station with corrosion-resistant coating.
- Mechanical refurbishment with complete internal machinery demolition, replacement of pressure pipes and guide pipes with KO36-KO35 quality, installation of 2 new AVK DN150 gate valves and 2 new DN150 ball check valves, installation of 1 new AVK DN200 gate valve on the common branch, replacement of 2 new Flygt DN150 base fittings + installation of a 2” KO guide pipe holder, replacement of the common pressure pipe up to the flange of the installed T-fitting with a new D225 KPE pipe. The installed DN200/80 belt T-fitting + 1 AVK DN80 gate valve + DN80 KO blind flange at the provisional connection will remain on the combined pressure pipe branch.
- Installation of 1 AVK DN500 sluice gate valve in place of the existing removable gate valve for gravity connection, manufacturing and installation of the equipment (KO support + operating shaft + T-key).
- Installation of 1 new C250kN 800*800 belt cover for the gravity pit opening, and 1 new DN300 green area PP cover above the operating shaft opening.
