Description of the work: Renovation of the sewage pump station’s machinery

Time of construction: 2020

Ordered Services: DRV Zrt.
✓ Collaboration in the exclusion of the pumping shaft
✓ Washing, cleaning the shaft, and vacuuming the sewage before the demolition work begins
✓ Disconnecting and removing the existing pumps from the electrical side
✓ Providing energy necessary for temporary operations and construction from the existing electrical control cabinet during the construction period, with remote monitoring of the temporary operation outside of work hours
✓ Periodic provision of a deep suction vehicle during the construction period, if necessary

Replacement of Pumping Station Mechanical and Metal Structures:

Contractor’s responsibility: RWT Kft.

  • The cleaning and washing of the pit before the demolition work begins. – DMRV Zrt.
  • Establishment of work conditions: Plugging the gravity pipe in the converter pit or in the pump station, establishing temporary operation during the work, and pumping sewage (using existing energy) – Establishing temporary operation and operating during construction RWT Kft.
  • Dismantling existing cable holders and float switch supports, manufacturing and installing NEW KO – Pumping Station
  • Dismantling the machinery structures inside the Pumping Station and Access Shaft, chiseling wall penetrations,
  • Dismantling and removing the pressure pipeline between the Pumping Station and Access Shaft,
  • New DN150/168.3*3.0mm KO35/36 Pressure Pipeline, 2 pcs DN150 90° pipe elbows made of KO35/36 (1.4541, 1.4571 or 1.4404) material, flat and loose flange connections of KO35/36 – Pumping Station
  • 4×6.0 m Guide Pipe 2” KO35/36 (1.4541, 1.4571 or 1.4404) material Pumping Station
  • Building a new pressure pipeline between the Pumping Station and Access Shaft D160 KPE PE100 SDR17 pressure pipe, with electro-fusion coupling + weld joint + PP flange and ISO pull-safe flange installed
  • Replacement of pit covers with frame and 1” new KO handrail, dimensions: 2 pcs 600800 mm and 1 pc 600700 mm KO33L in odor-proof design – Pumping Station
  • Manufacturing and installing a new KO backrest ladder according to MSZ 15670 – Pumping Station
  • Installing 2 new DN150 shut-off valves and 2 DN150 ball check valves in the Access Shaft, concrete topping of the shaft
  • Manufacturing and installing 1 new DN150/200 KO35/36 Y-fitting, with flat and loose flange connections, and installing a B75 Storz coupler cleaning branch on the combined line – Access Shaft
  • After the Access Shaft, reconnection in the ground to the combined pressure line (dismantling the existing connecting fitting)
  • M16-M20 A2/A4 screws, nuts, and flat washers, IT seals, auxiliary materials
