Description of the work: Renovation of the architectural and machinery systems of the pump station.
Time of construction: 2020-2021
Renovation and transformation of the architectural and machinery systems of the pump station:
- Cleaning and washing of the pit before the demolition work begins. – ÉRV Zrt.
- Establishment of a provisional connection point on the existing pressure pipeline DN80 KO branch + gate valve – RWT Kft.
- Establishment of the working conditions: Plugging the outflow pipe in the converter pit, installation of a temporary pump station. Temporary operation is established with a TSURUMI pump + connecting the flying pipe to the connection point created on the pressure pipe – RWT Kft.
- Construction of a NEW valve chamber with dimensions 1,502.10m H=1.80m, including 1 piece of 800800mm door + frame in KO driven version.
- Dismantling of the machinery, pressure pipe, and pumps within the pumping pit, breaking the partition and pit wall to create a 500*1000mm window between the dry and wet spaces.
- Construction of a new pressure pipeline KPE D110 PE100 SDR17 in the ground between the pump station and the valve chamber.
- Installation of a new DN80/88.9*3.0mm KO36 pressure pipeline in the pump station, manufactured and installed from KO36 (1.4541 or 4404) material.
- Installation of 2 DN80 AVK ball check valves in the vertical branch for collector pipe connection in the pump station.
- Manufacture and installation of a custom KO36DN100/80 collector pipe (including 2 DN80 90° bends, 2 DN80 flanges, 1 DN100 flange, and 1 DN100/114.3*3.0mm pipe) with a flange connection to connect to the NEW KPE pressure pipe flange.
- 4×6.0m guide pipe made of 2” KO36 (1.4541 or 4404) material.
- Installation of 1 new DN80 and 2 DN100 AVK gate valves in the common pressure pipe branch of the valve chamber.
- Installation of a DN100/50 GGG epoxy T-fitting in the common pressure pipe branch of the valve chamber + installation of 1 AVK automatic air vent-air inlet with 1 DN50 AVK gate valve.
- Installation of 2 NEW Flygt Concertor 80 2.2kW pumps with installation kits DN80 + DN80 connection foot + 2” KO upper guide pipe holder and cable holders.
- As additional work, vacuum-based dewatering to carry out the work – connection to the existing DN150 pressure pipe outside the valve chamber with 1 DN150/100 FFR fitting + 2*45-degree fittings + 1 DN150 Multi pull-resistant clamp.
- M16 A2/A4 screws, nuts, and flat washers, IT seals, auxiliary materials.
- Dismantling of the existing concrete slab in the pumping chamber, installation of a new MOBA E30-41a concrete slab, including pit cover + frame in concrete, size: 1 piece 6001100mm + 1 piece 800800mm in KO33L design.
- Creation of an opening L=1000mm wide and H=500mm high in the existing partition for the wet chamber design of the pump station.
- Full coating of the dry chamber-pump chamber and slab with IPA Polyschicht 2K pH0-14 coating, as well as coating the surface of the wet chamber above gravitational influences to a height of 2.5m.
- As additional work, a Concertor control system for pumps has been ordered and installed – RWT Kft. and Xylem Water Solutions Kft.
